Line-up (so far)

D-Dub

There's only one DJ on our line-up that can list on their CV a place at the DMC World DJ Championships and it sure ain't your host. He's one of the most technically gifted DJs you'll see at Wobblefest. I have no idea what he's going to play, but that's one of the joys of a D-Dub set. What I can tell you is it's going to be bloody great whatever it is.

Bungee Startrooper

Bungee Startrooper (née Stormtrooper) are legendry in the Aldershot and Folkestone back garden festival scene. With songs like Cheese and that other one, it's hit after hit. The soaring vocals of Sharon Stardust combined with the devilishly intricate guitar of Danny Magic will have you mesmerized.

D&B Yeti

The D&B Yeti has played Wobblefest virtually every year it's been on. And for good reason, he's awesome! As the name would suggest, there's going to be Drum & Bass in his set, but it's more varied than that. Make sure you're wearing comfortable shoes, because you're going to be dancing a hell of a lot.

Fuzzy Nonsense 2000

Hey, you have to get gigs somehow. And if organising an entire festival just so you can play it is the only way, then so be it!

DJ Monkey Bitch

We have some truly great DJs at Wobblefest but for sheer popularity it's hard to beat DJ Monkey Bitch. Expect a bit of 80s and 90s along with whatever else pops up in her record bag. I made the mistake of putting her on too early last time around. Lesson learned for this year: expect to see DJ Monkey Bitch in a later slot.

Evil Djinn

As far as I'm aware, Wobblefest has been the only place you've been able to catch Evil Djinn. Which is great for us, but I do feel sorry for the rest of the planet missing out. His beatboxing, looping and rapping combo has been a firm favourite ever since his debut. Banana!

DJ Fumble Thumbs

After myself I reckon DJ Fumble Thumbs has played more Wobblefests than anyone.  Every year he plays tunes I wish I had in my own record collection. He performed a somewhat experimental set last year, but I understand he'll be returning to a cold hard classic Fumble Thumbs set this time around.

Seagull Explosion

A new addition to Wobblefest? Not exactly, but a fresh name for certain. Chris & Laura have previously performed as a duo and as part of the band The Vanguards. This time, they are under the new name of Seagull Explosion. Their recent performance alongside Gangstagrass drew a crowd of thousands at a festival in Italy. So I'm pretty pleased to be able to welcome them back to humble old Wobblefest.

Your Idiot Sidekick

For a festival we don't actually have many bands on the line-up. Which is why I'm very pleased to have Your Idiot Sidekick playing for us this year. I'm not the best at genres, but I'm going to say indie-rock would be a pretty good description of their sound. But don't take my word for it, you can check them out on Spotify here: YIS on Spotify

Vibeslide

Firstly I have to apologise to Vibeslide for the photo. I couldn't find any of Al behind the decks, so a picture in the kitchen at a previous Wobblefest had to suffice! Vibeslide's sets are proper old skool funky affairs where you can't help but dance. Not to be missed.

DJ General Trippyness

Now it wouldn't be a Wobblefest without a DJ General Trippyness set, would it? I'll be the first to admit that my sets over the years have ranged from 'not too bad' to 'bloody awful'. I'm aiming for 'pretty good' this year, but who knows.

Tweak MG

Alex has played a few Wobblefests now and in my opinion he's got better and better each time. Under his moniker Tweak MG he creates dance music live on an array of synths and sequencers. Despite the fact that he blew up the Wobblefest PA earlier in the year, I've invited him back to twiddle his knobs once again.

DJ Crossfader

I actually don't know if DJ Crossfader is going to play. And if he does play, I have no idea what he's playing. It'll be a learning experience for all of us.
